Once you reach the bottom, the effort will be rewarded with a stunning view that opens up before you, overlooking Positano, the Li Galli islands, and Capri.
It is one of the few places on the cliff where you can enjoy the sun until sunset.

Ravello Beach: Castiglione Beach

Castiglione is the seaside district of the city of Ravello, and it is here that you will find a small and charming sandy beach about 100 meters long, surrounded on three sides by steep cliffs. In the center of the beach, there is a beach club, while access is free on both sides. The sun shines here until the early afternoon.
To reach Castiglione beach in Ravello, you must descend a staircase of 186 steps that starts from the Amalfi Coast road, located just before the fork that leads up to Ravello.
The beach is easily accessible by public transportation, which stops right in front of the staircase, as well as by private vehicles. In this case, you will need to park your car in Atrani and walk back about a kilometer, or park in Ravello and then descend along the scenic path that leads to Castiglione.
