Car Parking areas for Luci d'Artista event

For those arriving in Salerno for the Luci d'Artista event by car, it is recommended to consult the city parking map available at the following link: Where to Park in Salerno

During weekends, when a higher tourist influx is expected, it is advisable to head to the parking at Stadio Arechi, and then take the metro to reach the city center. Once you arrive at the "Stazione Centrale" metro stop, you can comfortably walk among the exhibition areas, as the main lights are concentrated between Corso Vittorio Emanuele and the Villa Comunale.

Camper Parking areas for Luci d'Artista event

During the festival Luci d'Artista, Salerno offers a dedicated area for camper parking to facilitate the arrival of visitors. The parking area is located along Lungomare Marconi, specifically in the Marconi area, and will be available until spaces run out. This is an ideal opportunity for those who wish to enjoy the magic of the illuminating art installations without the worry of finding accommodation.

To ensure you have a spot, we recommend arriving early, especially on weekends when the festival attracts a larger number of visitors. For detailed information on prices and parking conditions, please refer to the table below.

Bus Parking areas for Luci d'Artista event

For the Luci d'Artista 2024-2025 period designated BUS areas will be set up for proper parking, and a parking ban for tourist buses will be established throughout the municipal territory. Any parking outside the authorized areas will be subject to administrative fines and vehicle immobilization with a locking device.

Following this provision, to access the city, these vehicles must preferably reserve a bus parking space in the designated areas, displaying the BUS PASS on the front windshield in a clearly visible manner. The pass must be visible from the outside and printed in color in A3 format, authorizing transit and parking within the reserved area (following the route indicated in the reservation confirmation voucher). If no reservation is made due to a lack of available spaces, access to the city will not be permitted. To enter the city, these vehicles must book a parking spot in the UNMONITORED areas:

  • PASS L: LIGEA AREA

  • PASS A: STADIO ARECHI AREA

  • PASS H: CARELLA HOTEL

For holders of the Pass L (Bus parking area called: Ligea): parking is authorized in the aforementioned area, while only the boarding and disembarking of passengers is allowed near the Villa Comunale (Via Lista).

For holders of the Pass A (Stadio Arechi Area): parking is authorized at Stadio Arechi, and only the loading and unloading of passengers is permitted near the M8 Metro (ARECHI). The parking area will be active on the following dates: Dates are being updated!

For holders of the Pass H (hotel facilities): For hotels located near the Salerno central station, the reference parking is on Via CARELLA. If this area is full, tourist buses will be directed to the area on Via Ligea (if not saturated). For hotel facilities (Salerno East and Salerno West) with specific private parking areas for buses, only transit for the boarding and disembarking of passengers is allowed at the Arechi area (Salerno East) and Via Lista (Salerno West). After disembarking passengers, buses must reach the private parking area.

  • The parking areas LIGEA, ARECHI, and CARELLA PASS H can be booked until the available spots are filled.

  • The Arechi parking area is only bookable and usable on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays until the Ligea area is fully booked. Reservations are not possible on the following dates due to public order concerns related to scheduled football matches: Dates are being updated!

  • The CARELLA PASS H parking area is available for buses transporting groups with a reservation at hotels located in the center of Salerno.

Increased runs of the Salerno Metro

The number of runs for the Salerno Metro will be expanded and increased during the Luci d'Artista 2024/2025 period with the establishment of additional services on the following days:
