Naples - Capri route: where do Naples Capri ferries and hydrofoils leave from?
If you are traveling from Naples to the island of Capri by ferry, you should definitely be aware that there are two embarkation piers in Naples: Calata di Massa, from where only ferries and fast ships depart, and Molo Beverello, from where hydrofoils to Capri depart. The two piers are just under a kilometer apart.
Moreover, only in summer hydrofoil rides are available from Naples to Capri from Molo Mergellina (300 meters away from Mergellina train station).
How to reach Capri from Naples airport?
From Naples Capodichino Airport first you need to reach one of the departure points of the ferries or hydrofoils to Capri: Molo Beverello or Calata di Massa.
There are two options: public transportation by bus or cab:

The public transportation that connects Naples airport to the ferry departure piers is called Alibus. It stops at both piers and tickets can be purchased on board
Capri ferry schedules
Ferry schedules to reach the island of Capri vary greatly between summer and winter: the summer schedule is generally in effect from early April until the last days of October. Sometimes it is possible that schedules are also changed within the same season, such as during peak season, so we suggest you check the schedule a few days before departure.
How long does the ferry from Naples to Capri take?
The island of Capri can be reached by both hydrofoil and ferry from Naples, obviously the travel times only slightly different. The duration Naples - Capri by hydrofoil is about 40 minutes, while the journey time by ferry is about 1 hour, specifically the crossing is generally between 50 minutes and 80 minutes.
Salerno - Capri route: where do Salerno Capri hydrofoils depart from?
There are generally two ports in Salerno from which hydrofoils and ferries depart: the Molo Manfredi and Molo Masuccio Salernitano (Piazza della Concordia). The pier at Piazza della Concordia is a few hundred meters from the train station where high-speed trains arrive, while Molo Manfredi is a couple of kilometers away, and it is from the latter that hydrofoils to Capri depart. If you are arriving in Salerno by cruise ship, then the port of embarkation will be just a few meters away, namely Molo Manfredi.
Amalfi - Capri route: where do Amalfi Capri hydrofoils leave from?
Amalfi's port for all ferry arrivals and departures is Molo Pennello, located in the city center. From here the main tourist attractions are within walking distance in a short time.
Sorrento - Capri route: where do Sorrento Capri hydrofoils and ferries leave from?
Ferries and hydrofoils to Capri depart from Sorrento's Marina Piccola, which is located below the center of Sorrento. From the city center, the pier can be reached by cab or bus.
