Its name comes from the beautiful stretch of sandy beach mixed with small white pebbles. The Cala Bianca Beach, surrounded and immersed in Mediterranean vegetation, can be reached in two ways: the first is by boat from Marina di Camerota, and the second is on foot via a trail (which is also quite unique: here you can find remains of structures used in the past to dry and bake red clay).

HOW TO REACH CALA BIANCA BEACH

To the south of the shoreline, you will find dunes where, from July to September, the splendid sea lily blooms, which is protected and cannot be picked. It is a beach suitable for everyone, with its shallow waters and calm sea, although it is almost always windy in the afternoon. Approximately 5 km long, the beach culminates in a small cove bordered by a cliff, at the top of which stands the Torre del Telegrafo, a peaceful spot to relax.

Natural Arch Beach in Palinuro

Among the most popular beaches in Cilento is the Natural Arch Beach in Palinuro. Due to its beauty and uniqueness, it has been chosen as the location for many films, including Argonauts 2, Hercules and the Conquest of Atlantis, and Clash of the Titans, among others. The beach, a mix of sand and rock, owes its popularity to its arch, from which it gets its name.
It serves as a starting point for excursions to the caves of Capo Palinuro and is very popular with tourists and young people.
Thanks to the particularly striking natural arch at sunset, when the light peeks through the monumental window, the beach stands out as one of the most beautiful and incredible scenes in the world.

Trentova bay in Agropoli

The Trentova beach is a small corner of paradise located in Agropoli, one of the most frequented and beloved beaches in Cilento, even during the warm spring evenings. It was named Trentova because 30 sea turtle eggs were hidden in one of its caves. The sea is crystal clear and blue, with colors ranging from emerald green to deep blue in certain areas. The seabed is shallow, making it particularly suitable for families with small children.

This bay and its unspoiled sea rival that of Costa Smeralda; however, we recommend avoiding swimming during the peak summer season because it gets extremely crowded. The best months to enjoy such beauty are undoubtedly June and September.
